It’s really exciting to be here, and you can really sense the energy that everyone is in work mode. All the artists rehearsing and choreographing, Nel’s team filming and editing, me personally photographing and meeting editing deadlines. It’s exhausting and exhilarating at the same time.

As a dance photographer, I’ve already had the opportunity to live out several of my biggest dance dreams, and this summer, more of my dance photography dreams are coming true!
My wife Nel Shelby, a dance videographer, producer and director, helped me get my start in photographing dance. On recent projects, I’ve been filming dance clients via drone or using the gimbal, becoming even more confident in my collaboration with Nel and her incredible team.
