I’ve been a wedding photographer for the past 15 years, and I’ve developed a lot of knowledge in how to make your wedding an easy-flowing day. Recently, I asked couples I’ve worked with to get their expert wedding insights, too. I wanted to know the wisdom that they gained while planning their special day.
Chelsea & Charlie were married at 26 Bridge in the neighborhood of DUMBO, in Brooklyn, New York. It was my first time photographing a wedding in that area, and it was fun to walk around and capture cool, iconic New York City landmarks for photos!
Lindsey and Sam were married at The Farm on Adderley, a gorgeous venue located in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn. I know Lindsey, because she is a dancer – and I’ve photographed her many times with Pam Tanowitz Dance. I love dance couples!
Michele & Tyler’s wedding allowed for beautiful and abundant photos in Brooklyn’s Botanic Garden. What a gorgeous place to get married in New York. There’s no where like it.
Martina & Jonathan were married at Aurora in Williamsburg. It was a simpler, more relaxed and intimate Brooklyn wedding. That’s something that is so unique about getting married in New York – there are huge, grand, architecturally extravagant venues for 400 people guest lists and there are also beautiful, cozy spaces for smaller weddings. It’s only a matter of finding the right fit for what you want your wedding to be.
