Sara & Sam’s Wedding at The Mount

Some weddings feel like they were meant for their setting, and Sara & Sam’s wedding felt right at home at The Mount.

From the very beginning of their wedding day, it was so clear that Sara & Sam had tight-knit, loving group of friends in their bridal party. I could tell they truly enjoyed having their people close by, sharing these memories together.

Their first look on the grand, dramatic steps at The Mount was unforgettable. Sam’s anticipation, Sara’s graceful walk toward him, and the joy on his face as he finally saw her set the tone for the whole day.

Sara & Sam were enchanted by the romance of The Mount, and they wanted their guests to experience it as well. The ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing all took place right behind the mansion.

Cocktail hour, in particular, was spectacular.

The light was golden and the garden was gorgeous. It was lovely to linger in the summer evening air before heading upstairs to the reception on the terrace. I really wanted to capture the glow of the environment.

Sara & Sam joined in the cocktail hour festivities, which was such a joy. But Mezze Events also set up a table for them, tucked behind some bushes, so they could have a moment alone.

Sara and Sam came to me through referrals from Mezze Events and The Mount, two Berkshire partners I love working with. I knew right away it would be a great collaboration, and the day turned into a beautiful celebration of their love.

The reception on the terrace was lively and intimate. What a treasure to document Sara & Sam’s closest people come together in celebration of their love.
