Princeton Engagement Shoot | Alexis & Pat

Alexis is a ballet dancer who I’ve photographed at Jacob’s Pillow.

Her and her fiancé Pat met at Princeton University, so we had their engagement session there. Having an engagement shoot in a special or significant place makes the photos that much more meaningful for the couple. 

Because of current events, we had to reschedule the session a couple of times. Once it was safe, we had a social distance engagement shoot together – a first for me!

Alexis and Pat took me to a few of their favorite spots on campus. It was a really beautiful day.

I really love having an engagement session with a couple prior to their wedding day. It warms everyone up to be as comfortable as possible while working together and it gives the couple the opportunity to capture the feelings they have for each other now and have them forever. We will use these photos to make wall art for their home or a keepsake album so they can surround themselves with these memories everyday.

I’m looking forward to photographing Alexis & Pat’s wedding in 2021!!
