Christopher photographs dance, too
Years ago, Christopher asked if he could accompany his wife Nel Shelby on a dance film shoot. The choreographer said “yes” to his photographing their dress rehearsal and launched Christopher’s career in dance photography. Christopher LOVES dance and wants to be a dancer in his next life. For now, he’s happy to photograph dance at Vail Dance Festival, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, New York City and beyond.

Years ago, Christopher was in the crowd, cheering on friends who were running the NYC Marathon. He was wearing a shirt that said “YOU’RE BEAUTIFUL,” and in a moment he’ll never forget, Julia Roberts—also cheering on runners—locked eyes with him and shouted, “You’re beautiful!!!!!”
