Weddings (Long)

Christopher Duggan runs a wedding photography and cinematography studio in New York City and the Berkshires. He has shaped his career capturing candid and meaningful moments at his clients’ weddings, because he knows a loving glance between mother and daughter getting ready, or laughter between brothers knotting their ties, expresses more about a couple’s life and love than images of the dress, the flowers or the décor.

Christopher values being present, communicative and attentive while capturing the essence of your day without being in the way. The core of his practice is artistry—he is committed to artfully and truthfully representing your memories with integrity and soul.

Fleeting moments hold the true essence of a wedding, and Christopher’s decade of experience as a dance photographer in New York City and at Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival helps him to anticipate climactic and special moments, so he can capture them instantly.

Christopher photographs weddings and celebrations for families of different races, religions and traditions, across the tri-state area and in many beautiful Berkshire County venues. He photographs engagement sessions and family portraits in New York City.

Also a well-respected dance photographer in Manhattan and beyond, Christopher has collaborated with a range of talented artists and companies including Wendy Whelan, The Joffrey Ballet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and Paul Taylor American Modern Dance. He is the Festival Photographer for Jacob’s Pillow Dance, and his performance photography, coverage of dance events, and portraits have publicized world premieres, and appeared in marketing materials and on billboards.

You can find Christopher’s wedding and dance photos in The New York Times, New York Weddings, The Knot, Style Me Pretty, Destination I Do, Carats & Cake, Photo District News, Boston Globe, Financial Times, Dance Magazine, Munaluchi Bridal and more. His images from Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival Inside/Out were chosen by the National Museum for Dance to be included in a yearlong photographic exhibition, and one of his photographs of Bruce Springsteen is in the collection of The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
