Margot & Ryan’s Gorgeous Stonover Farm Wedding
Margot & Ryan had a gorgeous wedding at Stonover Farm.
We had lots of conversations leading up to the wedding to be sure we had a rain plan covered just in case. It’s always tricky planning an outdoor wedding because of the weather.
Each time the possibility of rain was brought up, I reminded Margot and Ryan how beautiful Stonover Farm is no matter the weather. I wanted to ensure that we had a plan in place, and that the couple didn’t have to worry about it.
While it did rain a bit, the rain stopped just in time for the first look. Then the sun came out around the ceremony time. It was a miracle. And it was glorious.
I always come to a wedding with an idea of where I want to make portraits, even if the couple has specific locations in mind.
The bride loved the ducks, so we made lots of photos of the ducks, and near the duck pond. = )
It was a blast to work with superstar Mezze Catering again. I love working with them! We’ve been collaborating on weddings together for more than 10 years now.
I also got to work with a beautiful new florist I’ve never worked with before… Sweet Have Flowers. I absolutely loved all of their circular, greenery halo designs. Beautiful accents for the space and the dance floor.
Around Town Entertainment was really incredible. They lit up the dance floor all night long.
The way they set up the barn at Stonover was awesome. This is only the second wedding I’ve photographed there, so it was nice to see it again!
We’ve done a few films there too, and I loved being back in the beautiful space!! I’m hoping to photograph many more weddings there in the future.
