Lisa & Greg were married on Saturday at Le Parker Meridien in Manhattan. I love doing weddings with Danielle Bobish of Curtain Up Events, who brings the highest level of professionalism and creativity to her work. And at the same time, she’s really fun to be around. She gets the job done, she does it with a smile, and you can tell she loves what she does.
Each group of wedding guests that entered the reception room, including myself were just like: “Wow.” The wedding decor was simple and gorgeous and the backdrop of Le Parker Meridien’s floor to ceiling windows overlooked Central Park. To see the light change from beautiful daylight to nighttime was breathtaking. Le Parker Meridien has a beautiful terrace, too, and during the wedding, Lisa & Greg’s family and friends were hanging out outside having drinks and talking.
Lisa & Greg were surrounded by such loving and fun friends. You could tell by the speeches their friends gave at the reception what really deep and meaningful relationships they all have, and it was fun to hear how much they really love each other.
It was the most perfect temperature on their wedding day. The best day of the year in New York City so far – the first day you could go outside and it was warm, with zero humidity. Such perfect weather set the mood for the whole wedding day. Weddings always have a contingency plan if the weather is rainy or too cold – this was just above and beyond our expectations.
We made wedding photos in Central Park both before the ceremony with the wedding party and afterwards with just Lisa & Greg. It was great to have the venue so close to the park so we could make wedding photos there twice. Whitney Browne was my second photographer and we’re such a tight team now – I love working with her.
