Davenport Wedding Portraits | Brianne & Michael
Brianne and Michael were married at the beautiful Davenport Mansion, a renovated 19th century Mansion that offers romantic old-world charm mixed with modern touches.

I was introduced to Brianne through Diana, whose wedding I photographed in 2019.
Brianne and Michael were originally supposed to be married in Myrtle Beach, but due to current circumstances, their wedding plans were changed and they chose to have a micro-wedding in New Rochelle, New York.
THE WEDDING DAY WAS BITTERSWEET BECAUSE BRIANNE’S SISTER COULD NOT BE THERE – SHE LIVES OVERSEAS, AND TRAVELING WAS NOT AN OPTION BECAUSE OF COVID-19. MICHAEL’S BROTHER ALSO COULD NOT ATTEND THE WEDDING.
Family and friends did everything they could to make them feel as though they were in attendance: Brianne’s bridesmaids had a cutout of her sister with them as they got ready for the wedding, and Michael’s mom had his brother on FaceTime throughout the entire ceremony.

I’m constantly amazed at how my clients have pivoted this year. Brianne and Michael handled transitioning from a large wedding to a micro-wedding with such grace.
If this year has taught me anything, it is that a smaller celebration with your close friends and family can still be as magical as the larger wedding you had originally planned for. Brianne & Michael’s wedding was filled with so much joy.
Congratulations, Brianne & Michael!
