Caroline & Ryan's Battery Gardens wedding photos in NYC

I met Caroline many years ago through our business networking group BNI. She has a fantastic sense of humor and uses her humor to put people at ease. I have always enjoyed her so much. She referred Emily & Walt, who hired me for their Bowery Hotel wedding in NYC in 2010 (back when my wedding photography business was still called Threshold Visions!) Both Caroline and Ryan were at the wedding, so we’ve had a long friendship.

Ryan’s dad works for the fire department, and he arranged for a fire boat to turn on all their hoses and blow their horn right at sunset during the wedding. It was incredible and definitely a highlight of the night. The Battery Gardens are right near the Staten Island Ferry downtown and have an excellent view of the Statue of Liberty. Sunset was perfect and made for beautiful wedding photos.

Another highlight and a total surprise to me was that Ryan plays guitar. He got up and busted a heavy metal set with the band that was insane. It was so awesome! Congratulations, Caroline & Ryan!!
