Brittany & Jonathan’s Wedding Photos

I’ve always said that I love photographing dance during the week, and weddings on the weekends, and I love when my clients are passionate about the fact that I do both. It’s always fun to work with couples who know the dance world even more intimately, like Brittany & Jonathan.

Brittany is a Soloist with New York City Ballet and Jon was a Principal with NYC Ballet, who retired last season. At their wedding reception, Brittany’s dad made a speech that he never thought in a million years his 25 year-old daughter would be marrying someone who was already retired.

Outside of ballet, both Brittany & Jon love golf, and having a Trump National Golf Club wedding was a great fit for them. Donald Trump spends the summer at the Golf Club, so Brittany & Jon met him and he actually popped in at the wedding reception to make a few photos.

Brittany’s dad has owned a beautiful 1960 Mercedes Benz for umpteen years, and he brought it out special to make some creative wedding portraits with the car. That was fun.

There were lots of dancers from the ballet at Brittany & Jon’s wedding. They’re all such good friends and had such a good time on the dance floor. It was a wonderful day.
