Lily & Tom’s Blue Hill at Stone Barns Wedding

Lily & Tom had a joyful and magical wedding day at Blue Hill at Stone Barns.

The wedding festivities kicked off with a charming rehearsal dinner hosted the night before at Bronxville Field Club.

Working in collaboration with wedding planner Erin Reddy was an absolute delight. Her exceptional design and organizational skills ensured a flawless process for the clients and a seamless collaboration for us. Erin’s design expertise shone through with exquisite accents that truly stood out.

The Big Day Arrives

The wedding day itself, held at the stunning Blue Hill at Stone Barns, was filled with excitement.

We began capturing moments at the Lily’s home, where early completion of hair and makeup allowed everyone to relax, exchange gifts, and celebrate together. (This is also where we made the couple’s engagement photos!)

Meanwhile, my second photographer, Danica, headed to the hotel to photograph Tom and his party.

The Ceremony

Despite the scorching heat earlier in the day, temperatures cooled just in time for the ceremony—a stroke of luck!

The Reception

The reception was absolutely electrified by an incredible band that rivaled the energy of some big dance galas I’ve attended.

The ambiance was enhanced by striking lighting illuminations that illuminated the interior of the Stone Barns, showcasing beautifully embroidered napkins, elegant tapered candles, and other picture-perfect details.

One particularly adorable touch—Erin’s idea—was using the engagement portraits I made with the couple as cocktail napkins!

Credit for the exceptional design goes entirely to Erin and her team, with Poppies and Posies executing her vision. Their meticulous planning and creative vision truly made the event unforgettable.
